Distribution.
Currently only known from Hong Kong, this morphospecies might be a species new to science and has not yet been formally described.
Biology & Ecology.
This species is uncommon in Hong Kong, and can be found in forest. The species likely nests under stones and within decaying wood. Like other species from the genus, workers are likely general scavengers and/or hunters of other insects.
Identification.
The species can be recognized by its color: dark brown gaster in contrast with brown head and body, convex mesosoma, the presence of dense hairs and by having relatively matt surface in-between the sculpture.
